Veggie Dumplings

For the Wrappers

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • ¾ cup water
  • Corn starch for stacking

For the Stuffing

  • 1/2 cup Brocolli
  • 1/2 cup tofu
  • 1/2 cup Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dried soya mince
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • Salt to taste

For the Chili Oil

  • 2 tablespoons of chili flakes
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt


  • Mix the water with the flour and knead into a dough.
  • Leave under a damp cloth for at least 30 minutes.
  • Then roll it out until it's 1cm thick.
  • Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or the top of a glass.
  • Stack each circle on top on each other but making sure to sprinkle corn starch between each wrapper.
  • Leave under a damp cloth till you prepare the stuffing.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients into a food processor and cook on a stove top while adding all the wet ingredients.
  • Once the stuffing is ready, roll out the wrapper until it's thinner and bigger.
  • Add 1/2 tablespoon of stuffing in the middle and fold to desired shape.
  • Either steam, pan fry or bake to prepare.
  • Add chili oil on top or serve on the side and enjoy
