Bang Bang Cauliflower

Ingredients

Cauliflower

  • 1 head Large Cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • cup Unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Paprika
  • ½ tbsp Black pepper

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp Maple Syrup or Agave Syrup

Instructions

  • Mix all the dry ingredients into the flour.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of milk at a time to the dry mix till you have a cake batter consistency and whisk till there are no lumps.
  • Dip the florets into the flour mix and line on a baking tray.
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C and bake cauliflower for 10-15 minutes or until crispy, while turning them halfway through.
  • While your cauliflower is in the oven, prepare Bang Bang sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  • When the cauliflower is ready, toss in the sauce and serve hot. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
